At Nu-Pure, we believe that sustainability begins at the source – and for us, that starts with our manufacturing sites.
Since 2023, our team has been working hard to improve landfill diversion rates and we are proud to share a major milestone:
Horsley Park and Truganina sites have achieved Gold TRUE Zero Waste Certification, with landfill diversion rates of 94% and 91%, respectively.
This achievement reflects the innovation and dedication of our manufacturing teams, who are leading the way by:
- Source-separating all waste streams
- Using onsite granulators to regrind PET into reusable flakes
- Compacting and baling rejected PET bottles and packaging for recycling
TRUE (Total Resource and Utilisation Efficiency) Certification goes beyond traditional recycling. It requires a holistic, zero-waste mindset, ensuring that every step of the production process is as environmentally responsible as possible.
And this is just the beginning. We are actively supporting other sites across our network on their path to certification, so every Nu-Pure product is made with the lightest environmental footprint possible.
