Why We Choose Recycled PET
Recycled PET bottles are 96% lighter than glass bottles, 40% lighter than tetra pak containers and 34% lighter than aluminium cans**
A recycled PET bottle contributes the least amount of carbon emissions compared to all packaging alternatives*
Of all packaging alternatives, PET water bottles offer the most durability, reducing product wastage due to breakage.

In Australia, 30% of PET bottles and 38% of glass bottles are recycled in to new packaging. Zero Aluminium cans and tetra pak containers are recycled into new packaging, these are exported.
PET bottles are more affordable than aluminium cans (2x), glass bottles (2.5 x) and tetra pak containers (2.5x)
1kg of recycled PET used instead of virgin PET saves 2.1kg of CO2 emissions*
*Considering a Cradle to Grave (material extraction/processing, manufacturing, transport and end of life disposal) analysis of a 600ml bottle and it’s associated Secondary (Film/Carton) and Tertiary (Stretch/ Layer Pads) Packaging components
** Based on bottle weight data of 600ml rPET, 500ml Thirst Trap and 500ml Capi Still Bottle
